Warehousing
Our central warehouses are located in the geographical heart of Sydney, close to all major transport links and with excellent access for all types of vehicles including, 40ft ISO shipping containers and Australia Post Vehicles.
In addition, we have expansive warehousing capabilities in Melbourne, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand. Auckland’s warehouses are located at the International Airport with close links to freight forwarders and custom brokers.
Our modern warehouses are equipped with state-of-the-art materials handling equipment including:
- Dexion selective and drive in pallet racking
- Picking faces
- Shelving
- Conveyor fed tracking tables
- Crown reach fork lifts
- Yard trucks
- Stock pickers
From the moment that our client’s products and materials are delivered to us, they are in safe hands:
- All units are individually monitored via a back to base alarm system and after hours security patrol
- All receipts are vigorously checked and recorded on a generic Coghlan “Goods received advice”
- Products are then directed to a storage location within one of our warehouse zones and recorded to electronic inventory management database
- Our stocktake procedures have been acknowledged by our client’s auditors as being of a very high standard
